The 2025 USPBL Money Draft results were announced on Saturday November 30th 2024.

Franchise Numbers are used to preserve future relevance. 

19 teams submitted bids for the Money Draft for a total of 95 bids.

There were  81 Winnings Bids  (85%).  Last year 79. The 10 year average is 70.

This is an amazing percentage of winning bids. Unheard of in the long

history of USPBL MONEY DRAFTS!

There were  35 pitchers among the winning bids, and 46 batters.

Last year there were 30 pitchers and 49 batters.Trend towards batters continues.

By Position: C= 5   1B= 4      2B= 7     3B= 5     SS= 11     OF= 14    And as stated,  35 pitchers.

There were 28 Uncarded players drafted. (some players may not have been noted as UNC)

Last year there were 24 Uncarded players.

The Highest Bids: Kristian Campbell (11) 320, Garrett Crochet (4) 262, Tyler Fitzgerald (10) 256

Spencer Schwellenbach (8) 226 and Jace La Violette (6) 201

The Most $ bid on a player was 320 (11) on Kristian Campbell (1 bid), 283 on La Violette (3 bids)

The most bids placed on one player was 3 for La Violette

Losing bid on  La Violette 56 (11) was the lowest "highest losing bid" ever!

the 300+ was actually a bid of 320.   61 bids were under 100. That's 74% of winning bids under 100K.

This year there was 6048K total Draft Money available compared to last year's 6826K. 

That averaged out to 302 this year and 341 last year.

A total of 5418 was spent on this year's draft. That's 90% of the available funds to get 81 players so this

worked out well. Last year we spent 81% of the funds on 79.

There was 630 left after the draft which is an average of 32K. Last year the post-draft average was 64K.

The most any team ended up with was 150 (15), 134 (18) and 97 (5). Again, the least ever.

8 teams got all 5 players, last year there were 7. These teams started with a mixture of high, low and 

medium amount of money so there is no pattern here. Just luck.

The most players from an MLB team is 5 from NYM, MIA and CWS.

There were 3 college players and 2 high schoolers.
